While trying to view the most optimal path for my own speed run I noticed a (possible) splice during Ydash’s WR run. This occurs 49-50 seconds in. You can see the inkling teleport from mid air to the ground, as well as hear a cut in the audio at the same time.

I don't think it was a splice just his capture card not cooperating that well. A lot of HD capture cards do that eventually.

I thought the same thing, he had other lag spikes throughout the video, but this cut was much different. The video seemed to remain smooth while at the other laggy points it was more jittery and their was several cuts. Either way, the moderators will hopefully look it over and make a decision.

Doesn't look like a splice to me, the orb count stays consistent and when taking the "splice" into account, the timer is consistent. This run was actually pieced together from 4 switch capture twitter clips, which explains the cuts. Of course a more smooth video would be preferable, but this run was submitted by someone other than the runner, who asked the moderators if it was fine first.

Thanks for the concern though, if anybody is splicing, we definitely want to know. :)

Yeah I linked them in the Youtube description because technically its not my content. Ydash doesn't have an actual video capture card so that's why I did it for him! :) He also has the record for Level 12 with just this.
