Hello! I'm looking to speedrun a game that is very short, from about 2-10 minutes long and not crazy glitch heavy. Not a lot of RNG is preferable and probably beginner friendly because this is my first speedrun. Thanks :)

Shelled Shinobi. It has no notable glitches, no possibility of dying, and the movement is really nice.

Safe to assume you have every console released in the history of ever? I mean you didn't specify so I imagine you have absolutely everything.

I'm not a fan of advertising games, but here's a game jam game from 2014 called Tim_ https://www.construct.net/fr/free-online-games/tim-109/play It got 2nd place. It currently doesn't have a leaderboard, but an any% run would fit in the short time window you've mentioned and a 100% run would take less than 10 minutes with some practice. There's some RNG, but nothing that heavily affects the speedrun. It's a pretty fun and difficult game to play casually I think, because I played this game the first time over 6 years ago.

Edit: I should probably describe the game a bit too. It's a platforming metroidvania game where you have to collect potions to unlock abilities to progress. You play as a bunny in a world of alligators (or crocodiles, idk) which kill you, shoot lasers, can fly, etc. At the end of the game, there's a final boss, which can be almost completely skipped very easily.

I have a time of 3:04 I think on my yt, but a much lower time is possible if I did more attempts.

The game only has one exploit/glitch that I know of, and it can be used to save a bit of time in 100%, and a bit of time in any%. It's not very hard to do, and it isn't used frequently in the run. The game does have heavy death abuse though, dying to warp to checkpoints and stuff, so if you don't like that kind of stuff I wouldn't run it.

I've not even personally speedrun this but there's no RNG whatsoever, just a bit of precise movement. Can be completed in a little under 3 minutes https://www.speedrun.com/gravbo

It's also free on Steam which is a pro

You can try the web games by NoaDev: https://noadev.com/games All of them are short 2d platformer games, with around 15-30 short levels, each game comes with a specific concept, and most of them have a speedrun mode with an in-game timer. The games are simple enough so they're very easy to start and pick up, but also may contain some harder tricks if you want to improve your times. Zero glitches and RNG.

5 of the games on the list are currently on speedrun.com.

Streets Of Rage 4 has individual level leaderboards now.

17 characters; 5 difficulties; 12 levels; literally hundreds of different ways to compete, if you are interested in that type of game. Levels are typically 2 to 12 minutes long, averaging about 5 minutes.

The next step up would be the "Boss Rush" mode which would take around 7 to 17 minutes at a rough estimate. The game is also like £10-£12 for the PC version.
