Ok so this is my first and weirdest thread ever. There's this game that I cannot remember and the fact I can't remember makes me want to slam my head into a wall. I was hoping some of you may know the game. Before I proceed with telling you about this game, from memory, take everything with a grain of salt because the majority of this could just be my imagination. [I really hope it isn't]

So from what I can remember the game starts out with a cut scene, two kids one's a boy and one's a girl running through the woods, being chased? not sure, I remember them be scared. They eventually find a house/mansion. a dark greenish colour is what I can remember from this cut scene.

Ok so now they're in the house and the only thing I remember after this is the following: they find a strange black female cat with it's mouth stitched up it appears to shackled to a ball and chain. I think it was in a cell or secure room of some sort. Other small details come to mind such as being chased by a randomly appearing monster thing and you have to drop a banana peel. The character models and art style was very similar to animal crossing, or at least that's how I remember it.

The game had a very creepy, but charming, feel to it. I hope this isn't just my imagination and that some of you can help me find what i'm looking for.
