What I think should be added/changed on the page (suggestions)

1. Resources: Links to source ports and speedrun stuff.
2. Categories: All difficulties.

Doom speedrunning scene exists far from here, tbh and this is just a preview, so I don't really feel like all difficulties, since that's not something community sees as a thing - main difficulty levels are UV and NM, here for some reason more already have been added, I don't really see point myself, but I guess Cyberdemon does, it's mostly him moderating that LB at this point. Resources is definetely something to consider, yet best way would be just this link - doomedsda.us. Also that's where you should be doing runs. Doom is a gigantic mass of various wads and demos and categories, and migrating all of it to sr.com makes literally 0 sense. I myself don't feel like this LB needs any additional content cause it already creates wrong view on doom speedruns. I think I already stated my points in some forum thread, yet I can't find it.

Middle tier difficulties are all mostly the same, I don't really see a point in running each of them individually besides easiest, and hardest (uv, nightmare is just a meme tbh), but I can work on some more resource stuff in the near future for sure.

I never understood why UV is the main category since I´m sure a run on the easiest difficulty could potentially be faster. Does anyone have a explanation for this? Don´t want to be rude or anything I´m just interested in why that is.

There's runs on both UV and ITYTD on the leaderboards because they're the easiest and hardest (excluding Nightmare) respectively

ahh yea I see it now my bad. I just mainly see people run UV/seems to be the most active competitionwise. but yea I see that as the "hardest" as well since nightmare is just on a complete different level

UV is the main because in 94 there was a thing called "Doom honorific titles" which was essentially an achievement collection where people submitted demos of single-segment runs of levels to boast about how good they are. Eventually everyone beat the game on UV without dying (NM was considered impossible at the time basically) so they started seeing who could beat the game faster, and boom.
