I reckon Any% Deathless and maybe even 100% Deathless for anyone who values the unreachable goal ha.
I never considered deathless to be a category since an optimized any% deathless is just an any% run. (same goes for 100%)
There's a couple of deaths you can take in the game that save you a few seconds. But I agree with you, it doesn't change the run much. Would still like to see someone try a deathless run though ha.
Myself and Spookytube have been chatting about the Surprise Party category. Currently, you have to select the cake to end it. However, this means the cake disappears and the only way to restart is exit the game, play world 1 again and then play the party level.
Could we change it so it goes from selecting the gift to start and selecting the gift at the end of the party level to finish? That way we could try over and over.

sure, I did that originally because I thought it was festive to eat the cake but yea that makes more sense.
In which case, I'm happy to remove that previous Surprise Party run and submit a legitimate one tonight going by the new rules :D
i retimed it and accepted it but do what you want. (don't expect immediate results because you're the madman who gives me 3 runs at a time to verify.)
Hahaha. I have very little time for life at the moment due to work deadlines, so my spare time is currently spent playing Squirm as then I can just veg out in front of my PC after work. You'll likely not hear much from me in 2 weeks time. Out to enjoy the sun :P

Did a test run of the DLC. Any chance we can get this added to the misc category? I stopped timer when control is lost when the screen fades and the book opens.
Yeah, I reckon the DLC should have a misc category too. It's too short for a full category.
What I want to know is are we doing anything about the fact there's an in-game timer these days? Or we just going to keep timing via real time methods?
The in-game timer isn't great. I am fairly certain it pauses when you pause the game (such as for quick fly) and it also doesn't render properly during the jetpack section
That would be a no then ha. I hadn't fully checked it out yet. Noticed it paused during talky bits.
As for the new category, I think might I need to enlist another verifier enlisted as it's recently getting harder to do this on my own.
