My speedrun was rejected because “spliced on 43 minutes”. What is “spliced” (on bedrock PS4)?

You cut and edit your run which is not allowed.

But everyone on PS4 have this same recording tools and it have limit of time of recording so i had to end my first video and start recording twice in this moment. What ca i do in this moment? Can i write to help and support? Regards

stream your runs which will save the video, or purchase a capture card

Are you thinking, that i can do something to confirm my speedrun with "spliced". I have played speedruns for a few months and it was very difficult for me to have such a good time in my country

if you have the video you should be abble to resubmit it

in ps4, if you get a notification (even if its hidden, but you still got it) the recorder skips around 5-10 seconds either play offline, get an account that doesnt get notifications, or livestream your attempts, in livestreams the notifcation just shows blurry and black instead of skipping some seconds

(or buy a capture card which most wont)

Spliced is putting two runs (or one clip and then a different one) together, usually its used for making set seed runs look like random seed dont play ps4 but a camera like you phone could work 🤔
