Hi,I would like to record my super mario 64 runs because I can get a pretty decent time now. The only problem is that I have a crappy laptop (2gb ram) so programs like obs make my game lag. So I was wondering if there was any screen recording programs that are great for low end pc.

OBS is basically one of the lowest, if you can't record with OBS, there's only 2 options: get a better PC (or rather, a PC, not a laptop) or record using a webcam.

I have one pc that has a bunch of games on it and I had it connected to an Elgato which outputted to a different pc. In this way the work of recording is not affecting the gaming pc. Too bad the Elgato broke recently. It lasted maybe a year.

Runs that are recorderd with a cellphone/webcam are allowed?

As long as the quality is good enough that it can be seen with decent clarity what you’re doing (audio is a bonus) then yes, they should be allowed.

You can always double check with the mods of a game, but most will allow it (as they should). Different communities might have different requirements for clarity in the video and audio, so double checking can’t hurt.
