all the runs were correctly timed and done exactly as other times on the boards were done, but they put reasons such as "just stop" and ".". after I got the first notice about timings, i fixed it

Would like to request Super Mod for the NES game NARC. I have 2 runs to be verified and the mod hasn't been online in a month. I tweeted at him and got no answer so far.

I can second what @Xcvazer has said. I am also part of the Shower community. If my word has any bearing--as a voice from the community--then I think @kirkq may find reason enough to fulfill @Xcvazer's request, based on @SlyLobster's relative inactivity (@kirkq can see those logs, right?).

My game request of "Texas Hold 'Em Poker (GBA)" was denied. I was the first to finish a run and I requested the game that night. The next day, f1 did his run and then requested the game. How am I now being told that he requested the game first? I for one got him into running the game, and finished the first run, AND have the faster run, AND have put loads more hours into it than he has. What is going on here?

Formal request to have your_name_here removed as super-mod from The Witness Leaderboards due to not having done anything since creation of the leaderboard and being AWOL for more than half a year.

I request on behalf of the Aragami speedrun community to remove Buffet Time as a super-moderator, as he has not participated in routing or running the game since the release of the game and only propose rules that are opposed by the majority of our community.

Since Janmumrik Is a Super-mod he has literally every single moderation power as i do, and neither of us have any authority over eachother in terms of leaderboard moderation powers. The only thing right now that is different is that it says the game was requested by me which i'm pretty sure is under info only if someone is set to mod and really doesn't mean anything.

Also i was just asking questions in that discord about what to do with the leaderboard and Havrd was excessively hostile towards me when i was asking these things for no real reason. All i did was request the game because i really liked it and want to start speedrunning it, then i had midterms this week so i couldn't run, i'm actually starting ILs and running today. All i wanted to do was help make a leaderboard for a game i'm going to speedrun which i did and then i added Jan as super mod because i had said when i first joined that discord that i had requested a leaderboard and he said the same thing. Also i left all the rule writing to Janmumrik seeing as he has wr in the game, all i did for the leaderboard was change the theme, add ILs, set the info about the game (genre, engine, etc.). I have yet and will never impose any rules on people for no reason.

I'm sorry that my request was accepted instead of his but he is a SuperMod so he can add anyone to moderator and remove anyone at any time and has every other possible leaderboard moderation power.

i got aggressive towards you for a great reason, i expressly asked you why you should have a vote in how we time the run. You decided to meme around in the discord (as you call it, joke) and totally ignore me and my relevant questions about why you are a mod, and why you are trying to tell a PC speedrunning community how to time our runs. We have all the logs on the discord, i had great reason to get aggressive towards you, replying in this manner makes you look even more pathetic. We even have pictures of our conversation in Discord, where you expressly say (supposedly as a joke): "My favorite passtime is snagging leaderboards nowadays, ever since i got hm1 and hm2 mod, lmafo". Later to say it was a "joke". Dude shit like that is not a joke, just shows that you are a power hungry fool.

Edit: look at the post below mine

There are many more examples showing he's just a super power hungry person. Yes, havrd was extremely aggressive and maybe could have handled it more calmly; however, I also do not blame havrd for being aggressive when Buffet Time has shown many tendencies like this. Everyone in the discord was friendly to him even after he became super mod of the leaderboard. At least until he started being a dick about the leaderboards.

As someone who doesn't even run the game, and literally just completed his casual playthrough yesterday, but is claiming to "planning on learning how to run it." He has completely overstepped his bounds. There are many more examples of this behavior from him, and assuming I knew how to "DM Kirkq" I would as I would rather not have to make this into some screamming fest on the src forums page. But that doesn't mean I won't if that's what it takes to remove him from being super mod of this game, and attempting to hoard and abuse power like this.

About SlyLobster, I used to talk to him on Twitch, and if he doesn't change his mind, he stopped both streaming and speedrunning for the moment, due to personal reasons. You still need to ask him to confirm it, but I guess someone valuable enough can take his spot/job.

@Token Even leaderboard creators can remove themselves from the position as moderator from a leaderboard. But yeah, forcefully it has to be done by a site mod. I'm inclined to remove myself from a certain leaderboard, as soon as I find a runner (at all) who's capable of doing that. I've given mod powers to someone else before upon request, but he wanted the game in his collection of leaderboards. Not what I invisioned ffzbramzW

The "snagging leaderboards" was a joke. The saying X timing was a joke, i said that all timing is a meme as a joke. i never said anything about no one can do that. I didn't realize you guys wouldn't have noticed it was a joke sorry.

Also when i got the leaderboard all i did was say i modded The wr holder and said don't worry about the theme i can do that. And then i got on my computer this morning and Havrd was just being hostile and rude to me for no reason just because the admin had accepted my leaderboard because i guess i submitted for the leaderboard before him. But the i made him Super Mod. I really don't get how i'm "power hungry" if i was i wouldn't have made him super mod because that means i can't remove him from being mod and it gives him the power to remove anyone i couuld and he could add anyone.

Also i can't show screenshots of the discord because i was kicked from it.

Again, we were perfectly nice to you at the beginning. Nothing was wrong, i got hostile when you started ignoring me. That's not "for no reason". You can call whatever you want a joke man, but when it happens in many games you don't run. You can make up whatever excuse you want to be mod for the games you are mod in. Problem here is that the way you behaved towards us in our discord alienated you from it, we kicked you for that reason. We do not need any more screenshots (unless a admin of sr.com wants them as evidence). We can keep this calm and tidy, just relinquish your supermod for the game you have no runs in. Repairing your standing with the Aragami Speedrunning community is far away, you should think about starting there.

There is absolutely no reason for a person who barely plays the game to have supermod in it, let alone you didnt route it, you didnt stream it, you werent helpful at the development at any point. Now that you got supermod, you suddenly think you have a say in how we do it. A supermod you did not earn and have no reason to think you earned. Thinking making Jan supermod releases you from your behavior is insane, obviously he should have supermod.

We do not need to make this into a big thing, drop your ego and your dreams about power hungry leaderboards, and release your supermod of the game. The admins of this site has more to worry about than something as minor as this.

Buffet_Time's "power hungry" comments are clearly a joke, from my perspective--certainly when coupled with the screenshot. He essentially mods five games. Even if you break them down by series, he mods very few games. The joke is that he's ironically claiming to be power-hungry in light of the fact that he mods a relatively small number of games. Look at the number of games modded by Buffet, compared to the number modded by @Deln, @Token, @Jumpyluff, @strawberrymilk, @authorblues, etc.

I make this comparison, not to call out any of these users as "power-hungry", but to illustrate the intended irony of Buffet's comment.

Also, I'm just commenting on that particular detail, not the situation as a whole.
