Hi, recently I have played Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep quite a lot and I was able to establish some World Records on PSP Version. But now I feel like I've reached my limit (at least for some time) with it. My PBs are not progressing anymore and I think it would be nice to have some other ARPGs that have this kind of structure (divided by characters campaigns), because if you play just one campaign, it's a shorter speedrun and it's easier to practice and do lots of runs.

Does someone have any recommendation for me?

All (or at least most) games in the "Devil May Cry" series have campaigns by characters. In the majority of the games the main character is Dante, but you can also unlock and play other characters as well, who have different weapons and abilities. In Devil May Cry 2, if I remember correctly, the campaigns might overlap in their stories but are played in different maps, and you fight completely different bosses.

Not sure if you can classify them as RPG games (the action is surely there). There are many weapons you can choose from, items you can buy, and currency that you need to preserve and spend on upgrading your weapons and abilities. When speedrunning you can't spend much time on farming lot of currency (red orbs), so you need to make decisions about what to buy and upgrade, and what not. There is no Exp or character-level-up system.

Note that I watched some gameplay from the later games, but only played the first 3 games, so my knowledge come from those only.

Thanks, Oreo, but in fact Devil May Cry games are generally considered stylish action games/character action games/ hack'n'slashes.

The part about the action is true, but it doesn't have that many RPG elements to be classified as one. It's basically the evolution and buying itens/abilities, but that's it.

What I meant was something like, for example, Odin Sphere, which is divided by 5 characters if i remember correctly. You play one char's story, then end it and go to another character's story.

Maybe it's hard to find, I just opened this thread because I've been struggling to find games like these by myself.
