can't change username
"You've already changed your username in the past 60 days!"
I just waited 60 days to change it again, and it doesn't tell me on the page that I can't change it
@Kiakao what does it say exactly, because maybe in an hour/two hours or whatever it will update
"If you change your username, you will not be able to change it again for another 60 days. "
Last time I checked it said something like "You will be able to change your username in x days."
Might update in an hour, but still, it's annoying. I waited 60 days to change usernames.
I see. Thanks. It should still tell me on the username tab that I can't change my username again yet.
Hi there. On the Samurai Riot leaderboards, the run on the Normal difficulty leaderboard does not come up automatically even though all the filters are off. It is only visible when you click to see the different routes. Is this a bug, and if so, could you help me out?
The Discord invite link you can set up for a game/series does not accept the discord.gg format that Discord, itself, generates and puts a speedrun.com in front of the link address to make a 404-type error.
For instance:
discord.gg/uZxaZv7
turns into
https://www.speedrun.com/discord.gg/uZxaZv7
Not sure if it was set up as an acceptable format, but it should be.
EDIT: Why should you need the http at the front? That's stupid.
When editing a game series the explanation text under the Abbreviation bar says: "For linking to a permanent discord invite" the same text which is found for the Discord bar, came across this when editing the GOP game series.

Strange I thought I fixed this already. I'll replace it this evening if I remember.
Edit: Fixed it now that I found a minute.

Yeah sorry there is currently no regex in place, I'll add this later when I get some time to sit down and add rule validation for it also. I also need to add this for wikipedia/websites where it scans it for "wikipedia.org" as it's not what the purpose of the field is for yet people continue to use it anyway when I thought it was inherently obviously... though you can't predict user end results lol.
I don't know if it should scan for "wikipedia.org" as other wikis like mariowiki would be better for mario games because it's way more detailed, although I wouldn't know a good alternatve except creating a huge whitelist which probably wouldn't be that good either
@Mitsunee It's stupid because we currently don't append the http:// | https:// prefix infront of it if you don't append one yourself, resulting in: speedrun.com/discord.gg/invitecode
@blueYOSHI the wiki's are supposed to be for speedrunning utility websites, not something like a wikia covering all mario games. best case example is: zelda.speedruns.com
Hello. Currently speedrun.com thinks that I am a twitch partner after I uploaded the sub badges that recently rolled out to affiliates. Im not seeing any of my other friends having the same issue so I'm not sure how common the issue is.
can I get "partner" too? :'3
Edit: joking aside, I am an affiliate, have been for almost a year and did stream today, no badge here. So there may or may not be something slow/bugged here. Edit 2: had the badge now, removed it in profile settings until it either says Affiliate or I'm partner :'3
I believe this is from Twitch's new changes. I've not looked at their API to see if they've added a different param' for affiliates yet. I'll look at it tonight. Thanks for raising it.
I'm not certain if this is a bug or just not a feature, but @'ing someone doesn't give a notification?
Seems like it's the only reason for it to exist, but I've noticed I don't get notifications for it so I figured I'd ask
Not a feature as far as I'm aware, I guess it's just so it's clear who you're responding to in a thread?
Seems like it would be helpful to notify people when they're mentioned? perhaps, idk
up to you guys, now that i know it isnt a bug this should probably go in feedback anyway sorry lol
