I recently got interested in speedrunning Sleeping Dogs, but after seeing the shortcut in the first race mission of the Any% Speedrun and seeing a potential 1 minute skip over the wall in the same race (can't remember where I saw it) I just had way too much fun looking for shortcuts on the other (optional) street races accesible through the Social Hub, and just thought it would be a nice extra category for the game.

But I'm not sure if anyone would really run it or if anyone is interested enough to add the category, but I already did my first timed run and plan on doing more runs in the future. Most of the cuts I found are pretty consistent, and you usually get them within not more than 3 tries, so it's not overly based on luck if you can make the cut or not (but still enough randomness to make most of the cuts interesting imo). So, if the category gets added I can definitely post my current best time (with video of course) and propose some rules for the start and end of the timer (and other rules if necessary).

P.S. I can also write/make a guide for all the shortcuts I use in my run, to make it more accessible to "newcomers".

I suggest writing a guide for the races. It's not really justifiable to add a category if only 1 person has ran the category. I'm interested in seeing people pick up the category though
