New to speedrunning, have a few questions.

If a game doesn't have a time on it, would I be the first person to do it? EDIT: The game isn't even on this site yet.

How would I show my time to you?

How would I do a 100% run if I don't do it all in one day?

If my game crashes and time is still running, is the run dead?

Does lag make people think I'd cut my video to save time? (Really bad PC would make me gain time if anything.)

Would a discord full of people talking about 1 game count as a community to make speedrunning rules?

How do I post my time?
If a game doesn't have a time on it, would I be the first person to do it?
Yes. You would have the World Record for that category.
How would I show my time to you?
You would go ahead and submit the run to the leaderboard, and wait for the moderators to verify it. Then it will appear on the leaderboards of that category.
How would I do a 100% run if I don't do it all in one day?
You wouldn't.
If my game crashes and time is still running, is the run dead?
Depends. If you can get back into the game fast enough then it's not dead, but usually the run dies when the game crashes especially if the game doesn't have like save files or something that saves your progress.
Does lag make people think I'd cut my video to save time? (Really bad PC would make me gain time if anything.)
I don't get this question.
Would a discord full of people talking about 1 game count as a community to make speedrunning rules?
Yes.
How do I post my time?
You already asked this question. To post your time, you click on this button and submit the run.

haha thanks for your help! sorry for the double question, long night. to clear up my lag question, I'f i jump down to say 25fps due to some shifty PC, could that hurt people thinking my run wouldn't be legit or make people think I'm cutting a bit out of my summation to get a faster time? (speed runner cheater)

It wouldn't, after all the mods have to understand that not everyone lives the same life and not everyone has a very powerful PC. If they don't understand that then they shouldn't be moderators.

Cheating isn't done by lagging, if anything, if going for the World Record you'd want to reduce as much lag as possible, thus a cheater would usually not purposefully lag their game because that would lose time. If they want to play at slower speed then they will use some sort of program that slows the game down but doesn't create lag and then speed up the footage in a video editor so that it wouldn't seem suspicious.

You can request a game to. The easiest way to do so is to go to games, then request game, then fill out the form. Welcome!

Thank you! One more question, if the game isn't beatable in a day and i were to go for 100%, is it possible to do the 100% with breaks? bathroom, eating, maybe sleep. game would take about 3-4 days to continuous play to beat but time would not stop for me or ingame pausing.

You could check out the Breath of the Wild 100% rules for an example of what one community decided upon.
