So after I applied for staff a page showed up saying something like "thanks for submitting your application well let you know if it was successful or not, so would they email me, message me, or would it only show up on the page that showed up after I applied. I had to force shut down my pc and I lost the page. I know I sound kinda dumb asking this but how will they let me know? thanks

https://www.speedrun.com/pendingactions shows if something is still in the queue. Notification on the site as well, though I'm not sure they've ever notified me by email.

So it's possible that your application has already been reviewed and you just never got notified due to this issue. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.
