battleonfan1: This whole discussion has devolved into just ranting and both sides have "poisoned the well" so to speak. Starting a rant about not having mod for a game you haven't submitted a run for and then taking it to Twitch chat and particiating in a flame war has only created more conflict than necessary. If you decide to do a run, those problems don't magically disappear.

@kirkq, 8bitisgr8, Expelsword_014, and Crak_Atak (as well as myself) have expressed interest in an XC board. Completing the gallery is a category idea that incorporates completing various goals throughout the X games to complete the photo gallery in the X Collection menu. I have not made a google doc yet, because I wanted to go through this site before doing so.

Hi guys. I'd like to apply for moderator of Need for speed: The Run (https://www.speedrun.com/nfsrun) I've noticed that none of the moderators have been active for the last 2 days (even though one was assigned just today) and the runs are not being verified.

I've been running NFS:Underground and Pro Street, alone, for some time now (without Splits, or measuring time. Just for fun), because I was never able to make the software work for me (either I couldn't record/stream, or something else was crashing or not working at all). Few days ago, I've decided to try again to make some runs, this time on a long time favorite of my, The Run, but moderation of NFS runs is very bad right now. So that's my motivation.

Every time I open my browser I have it setup to open my favorite sites, including speedrun.com, so I don't think I will be missing anything that requires moderation. Fingers crossed :3

"Please keep in mind that using this thread is somewhat a last resort, in case the current moderators are not responding or refusing your help without justification. You should always start by asking the Super mods of a game/series as they are also able to add mods. Twitch messages to mods are probably best for now. Also try the game forums, many users get notifications when threads are created for games they follow. Moderator inactivity doesn't apply until around 3 weeks, depending on other circumstances, and it is expected that you try to contact them (exceptions may be made if they have been offline ~3+ months.) "

Your best bet is to contact them and ask them.

@PojeBunny If you take a look at the Need for Speed series forums, there is a discord link in the first thread. The Discord server for the series is pretty active and you can discuss the game there with the other players as well as contact then really fast.

I would like to apologize for the scene I made. I was experiencing the Dunning-Kruger effect where I overestimate my knowledge on something. I now know that Jersey Devil is a much tougher game than I had originally thought. I look at my comments now and they are so embarrassing. But I haven't given up on that mod position just yet. I will master this game. And when I am confident that I have mastered this beast, I will come back and ask again. Which might take longer than I had originally hoped. Sorry for starting dumb drama. I hope you can forgive me.

I would like to request to remove PassiveBobOmb from the mods of the Toy Story 2 Leaderboards (http://www.speedrun.com/toys2). He hasn't been active for over 1 year and has said that he will no longer be playing or being active in the Toy Story 2 community at all. He has agreed to this, since he has said he is no longer/doesn't want to be active with Toy Story 2 any more. Thank You

All right everyone, this is a followup to my request to be a super mod of the Fireboy And Watergirl serie. All of my runs still haven't been approved. (They've been submitted a month ago.) The thread on the forum of the serie, the whisper and the PM that I sent to both of the moderators on Twitch haven't been answered.

So, a while ago I was made mod for Heli attack 3, because HugeTurban wasn't accepting my run. I verified my own run, but he has taken down my run twice, for no reason, or at least I don't think he has tried to tell me why.

Think you could link to the rejected runs, so the mods don't have to dig through your account to find them? You can find them by clicking the hour glass in the top right, then pressing view all.

I was wondering if I could get moderator for Shooty Skies because there is only ONE moderator and he is somewhat inactive and the only way to contact him is through YouTube which it isn't easy to contact people on. http://www.speedrun.com/Shooty_Skies

@IFanGames to be considered inactive they have to be offline for more than 3 weeks. Also, have you tried posting in the game's forums? Try to contact the mod there

I requested mod for Shooty Skies and Capan told me, "Sure, go ahead and request it I don't mind. If you go to the forum page I request to replace the old mod. If you go to the same thread and ask to be modded on this same thread by my permission it should be fine ," So I came back here and I guess I request moderator for Shooty Skies? I did request earlier but it got rejected and someone said to ask the mod of Shooty Skies so I did. Mod Plz

He's a super mod, so he should be able to just go to the settings of the game and give you moderator.

@DonkeyKongGenius - All of those games have active mods. You can see the last online time for each person if you go to their profile and click info. Inactivity is usually around 3 weeks (21 days) inactivity.
