When will my speedrun and others will be verifyed? Mods say that speedruns will be verifyed in 1 week. Mine run is alredy 6 days old and its not verifyed. Are mods asleep or what?
We have 300+ runs to verify. Being patient would be much appreciated.
That is quite a lot of speed runs, how long do you think it would take to verify a run on average.
The oldest runs are about a week old, so that's how long you'll have to wait. Speedrun.com actually says the typical wait time should be 3 weeks, so we're actually doing pretty good! :)
idk "tipical", but yeah the limit is 3 weeks for the verification, after that you can start complaining xd also if they say by aproximation "a week", dont complain at 6 days lol
Weird thing is that my Last Speedrun was rejected in 1 Day and this run takes over a week (to verify) .
It also depends on how active the mods are. It's currently the holiday season, so a lot of us have our own things to do, like seeing family. Usually, we are a bit more active, but we can never guarantee a fixed waiting time for runs to be moderated.
I've verified your run now, but in the future please just have patience. We're also people that have lives, and we're trying our best.
Something i mentioned in the discord is similar to this. Moderators have different moderating times, across mant timezones, and as ethan stated, there is no set time for moderation to occur. The important thing to remember is that the LONGEST time it will take for your run to be verified is 3 weeks. Usually, runs will take around a week to verified, sometimes shorter sometimes longer. Mods usually have around 200 runs (approximation) in holding, with more runs being submitted every 10ish minutes (calculations in the discord).
Another thing, im not entirely sure, but i'm pretty sure that after a certain amount of time (1.5 months maybe?) and the run is still pending, its deleted, so mods are ALWAYS working towards getting the pending runs to zero. Pretty sure no pending runs have gone that long though, as the mod team is very good at their job.
As a final word, patience is key, but dont fret, as your run WILL get verified. (Unless if it breaks the rules.)

From now on the ingame timer, aqcuired by pressing t, is required for all runs. This includes speedrun and highscore runs. Your run will no longer be verified if the video only has audio.
