Hi, i've been a fan of speedruns for quite some time, and i've always wanted to get into running myself, but i can't get around to convincing myself to take the time to learn a run. any words of encouragement? mostly interested in running the jak and daxter games.
Different things work for different people, but breaking the run down into parts and working through larger and larger chunks of the game helps to make it less overwhelming for your first time. Also it's important to understand why you're doing things in a run and what you're trying to achieve rather than copying.
