I will be running the game on PS2. Although not the fastest version, the PC version is prone to crashes and soft locks. The PS2 version will help ensure stability. The video is kind of dark, but I may use brighter settings for the marathon.
This is a relatively short and safe speed run featuring an all-time classic game. There are bits of RNG thrown in, but nothing that will terminate the run. A majority of a good run comes from optimal movement and menus. Movement is quick and snappy thanks to the 2D (Directional, First Person style) control scheme. I am choosing the Any Difficulty category since it's simply faster and safer than the Normal category.

availability is sadly limited :( ideally early in the marathon. To give an idea, any time after what currently sits as Rayman 3's ending time through like the 24 hours after that.
If you can accommodate a slightly tricky to manage schedule such as mine please let me know. It's actually quite complicated.
I have Saturday off from about 6pm Japan time all through Sunday. Then in general I could only join from about midnight Japan time on any other day.

The submissions are OVER! Thanks everyone who submitted, as soon as tomorrow morning there will be the definitive schedule that you all can share with this link https://horaro.org/ismarathon/schedule if you have questions, ask them no problem on the discord channel :)
This marathon happened last year, not this year. You might be a little late for submissions.
I mean I MIGHT understand the necro if the thread just ended with the last submission but literally the post prior to 1RD's says "Submissions are OVER!"
(edit - wtf 1rd YOU ACTUALLY SUBMITTED FOR THIS LAST YEAR WHEN IT HAPPENED)
Related news though, GDQ look like they're gonna throw together an online Harvey Relief Done Quick, so that's cool.
It's really sad how something as thoughtful and amazing as a marathon to raise funds for earthquake relief is derailing into another drama thread.
