Why are BLJs banned?

It's not possible to get to the endless stairs without 70 stars, so it seems needless. Unbanning BLJs could also incentive more optimization in runs by enabling stuff like DDD Skip, LBLJ, and other tricks. I know a lot of runners have been sharing this sentiment, so I figured I would go ahead and put something out so that it could be discussed.

Most of the time bljs are not neccesary cause you travel through all the castle with the paintings tho i do agree on unbanning inside courses blj, but not overworld aka the castle

I don't think unbanning just in stages would provide enough "value" for random seed. Being able to possibly BLJ through bad star doors could make more seeds viable in random seed.

The point of the randomizer is to navigate around all the star door counts, some of which can be skipped by BLJing (LBLJ for early BitDW, SBLJ for early DDD / BitFS, 50 star BLJ for early tippy). Same goes for MIPS clip and the 30 star door. Not all seeds are "good seeds", but your job as a player is to work around that and find the fastest path through things. Plus, the idea is that this is the equivalent to 70 stars on vanilla boards, which ban BLJs by definition.

Any% (allowing glitches) boards are going to come soon once an update comes out that allows you to modify the star door count.
