Hi there, i was looking for some advice for OBS with Resident Evil 7. I use it to record my speedruns and now I'm trying to stream it but, my stream have almost 60 seconds desync...

Any advice? configuration tips? My upload connection is really bad and is at 700kb/s, is it enough? Thanks a lot

700kb/s I would say is too low to effectively stream anything, it also depends on your comp specs.

Just to clarify, do you mean 700 Kb or KB? Big difference, and KB is easily enough, whereas Kb is extremely low quality, but possible(I've streamed at worse).

You don't need to stream it, you can only record it :)

~700Kb/s upload.. I've a good comp spec : I7 8cpu 4.2Ghz + gtx 970 GPU but i think that my low upload rate is a problem...

Of course, I already recorded but i wanted to start streaming Speedruns, but not this time ahah.

Actually i have the same upload speed 700kb/s or so and just changed the bitrate 680 to stream you can go and check my videos in twitch (or just my videos in my runs)so you can have an idea about the quality that you can get and i think it's pretty enought.

700 kilobytes would make your stream really blocky on this game, basically.

It's about enough to stream a fixed camera game at low resolution (talking like 360) at 30fps. Though your video bitrate would need to be around 570 or so to allow for the 128 or so kilobytes (could go lower but sound would be degraded a lot) of sound encoding
