Sims 3 speedrun rules
New York, USA

The run begins as soon as the home lot loads from the beginning town screen, and ends as soon as the goal is reached.

Rules:

  1. The runs must not contain any mods (unless deemed necessary for a particular run)

  2. Custom content is fine to use, unless it messes with with game script and gives you an unfair advantage. For example using a custom content stove that cooks perfect meals every time your sims cooks. Just clothing items should be used to avoid controversy, however custom content may slow down your game, so use it wisely.

  3. You can start in any EA made town. You can not start in a custom made town.

  4. You may not use any cheat codes.

  5. You must live in a house that comes with the town you are playing in. No custom homes. No homes that belong to a different world. No 'freerealestate' cheat.

You can use any strategy you want to reach your goal as long as you don't break the rules above. You can use any expansions/stuff packs you wish, however this may slow your game down.

North Holland, Netherlands

Isn't z723's run invalidated per rule #5? He used a lot with a home he built himself.
