Hey - just started playing around with speed running and was curious - what happens when a game & mods of that game are no longer active?
NOT a good example, but I was playing Solar 2 and submitted a score yesterday and it hasn't been added yet. I know it's only been a day, so I'm not saying this is unacceptable but it got me thinking - what happens if the mods never come back and any new runs are left hanging?
In the event that the mods are actually inactive (moderators are classified as inactive if they haven't logged into the site in over 3 weeks), ideally someone would need to attempt to contact them through the social media links on their profile, and if that's not possible or they don't respond they would be replaced by someone with a pending run who's willing to take over. There's a thread in the Site subforum to facilitate this.
Ok great, thanks for the info. I don't think the mods are inactive as one has posted in the forum's fairly recently, I was just curious.
