Not sure if someone has asked the lb mods about this already, but I was curious what was the lb mod's opinion on allowing laser dome skip to be a thing for pc data org runs since I haven't heard/seen anything about it. This thought came to my mind when you guys allowed gummi skip and credit skip to be allowed on submitted runs. I thought it would be good to ask this while the amount of runs on the pc data org lb's are currently low and the process of allowing modded runs are starting to become a thing for the lb's.

In the case people who aren't familiar with what I'm suggesting, in KH2 randomizers, you are able to completely skip the laser dome sequence by reducing Final's Xemnas to 0 before he recovers from stagger after reaching the HP gate for laser dome (normally you are not able to do this since the game leaves his HP at 1 until you go through the whole laser dome sequence and cutscene). Basically, this will save about ~89ish seconds of time per run that beats Final Xemnas.

I will say that this could potentially impact the speedrun (outside of just letting the run be faster due to skipping laser dome) since it would theoretically allow RNG manipulation post Final Xemnas, but I haven't really tested that with the laser dome skip mod if that is true.

Also, I'm not sure what else the community thinks about having something like this for data org runs, but it would be interesting to see what other people think.

It would definitely be interesting to see the possibilities of continuing the manipulation past laser dome, however speaking from the perspective of somebody who runs beginner and regular crit there isn't really a need to continue the manipulation past xemnas, but for level 1 I could definitely see how that could potentially have a huge impact on the run. Honestly I don't see anything bad coming from this, I think it would definitely be beneficial in the sense that it would shorten the run but in my case I don't really mind laser dome as it's a nice small little break in the run that has none. Although I wouldn't mind having a laser dome skip category I would support it being separate from the base run as I don't want all the effort that I put into grinding the PC times to disappear lol, but all in all I think it would potentially bring in more runners which is something I'd love to see since there are only a handful of people running data org on PC.
