When im using livesplit to record the exact timing of my runs, is there a way to get it to start and stop with my game or do i have to manually start/stop it?

To have it automatically start and stop for you, you need an autosplitter. You can ask the community for the game you’re running to see if one exists. Otherwise just start and stop manually.
