Hello! I am really interested in learning the main game and annihilation line ANY% - one thing I noticed when watching the current WR of main game ANY% is that quite a few OoB tricks were used. One of which I think may be patched out now (The skip at the resistance base to get to Baron quicker).
Is anyone able to confirm if this is the case? And also if OoB is the only way to run ANY%? As a non-OoB route might be cool to have as well. Thanks
I have tried those tricks a few times but wasn't able to execute them. It really seems to me that they were patched out. So if anyone could confirm this, I would add a glitchless category for the main game.
I can confirm that the OoB used when you first meet Baron still works (Metro station ambush) but for the life of me I couldn't get the Resistance Base skip to work. When watching the WR run the jump in looks smooth but when I did it I hit an invisible box. I know the game can be down patched on PC but that also means save files can't be used which is a pain and also the DLC would not be playable.
I also had the feeling to hit an invisible wall. I would split the leaderboard for the main game to a Non-OOB Any% and an OOB Any% category if there would be at least another Non-OBB Any% run (besides my own one).
