Hey! My name is Jesse Collins and I'm the head of editorial for a website called Twin Galaxies (Yea, the Twin Galaxies that's been around nearly 40 years).
I'm reaching out to a new demographic and (along with the usual records that TG is known for) focusing on modern gaming, such as speed running and esports. I figured I'd intro myself here and invite you all to come to me. I want to talk to you if you're a speed runner and have any records broken. My email is jesse.collins@greenlitcontent.com and I would love to hear your stories for potential articles and interviews.
Thanks for taking a moment read this and I hope to hear back from you all! Jesse
Wow... Now that's awesome! :D Hello! I know a number of people who just so happen to love what you do, and I'll send them your way! Good luck getting more attention. :) Cheers mate!
I am not at all sure what to make of this.
Truly this is the dawn of a new age, the coming together of Twin Galaxies and SRcom.
I can scarcely imagine the shitposts that shall result from this.
It's real, guys. Greenlit is handling the editorial side of TG, which is coming very soon. Our focus is all about the "people" angle and I want to get some good, solid folks that are interested in talking about their experience. That's all.
No offense but Twin Galaxies is not really regarded very highly as it use to be because of allot of drama drummed up from you guys in the past. If this is indeed something your looking into why not just actually for once do research and personally contact people of interest instead of getting people to do all the work for you. We generally all do things differently here as a collaborative set of many different communities of games and work towards a more common goal in which we test our love and endurance of playing games as fast as we can as a learning and self competitive experience more so then just a social competitive one.
and just because you guys say you've been around 40 years or whatever amount of actual time it has been means very little to anyone outside your special little secluded place due to past experience many of us may have had including myself.
But do feel free to explore and take notes or whatever you may be wanting to actually accomplish but maybe you should more appropriately deal with the the communities of people rather then just individuals.
The following is solely my opinion, although I do believe a certain amount of people share it. But unless there are significant changes in the way TG is managed overall, I'm afraid we won't see any sort of collab between TG and SRcom anytime soon.
