I have been playing this game since it was gifted, and am considering running it. However, I have a question: What counts as a "Legend"? I see that they are banned and want to make sure I don't use them. Is there an easy way to tell if a pokemon is a legend or not?

Basically just what the series defines as a legend, not a pseudo-legend or anything. The ones that are really hard to catch, like Groudon/Kyogre, Latias/Latios, Reshiram/Zekrom, Dialga/Palkia. If you want to use a Pokemon but are curious if it is a legend or not, just ask on this thread and I will respond soon as I see it.

As for locations (your other post), you can use bulbapedia for those, since I think it's complete, balloon or otherwise.

Yep, that is pretty much the know all guide you will need for it. :) I will try look for the balloon levels there, but if anyone has a direct link that would be ace. :)

I think certain legends should be allowed tbh. But I see how some of them e.g. Groundon shouldnt be allowed

This is for a certain category. I think about 3/4th of the ILs and the all challenges% include legendaries. The rules could change in the future, but seeing as how a legend would give someone a huge advantage against someone without one, even though they route the same and use the same type of moves, that is how I put it to start off with. I have only had a week to put these rules together though. Speed running this game is still in it's baby stages. :)
