Pausing the game and recorder.
If I pause the game and the recorder and nothing happens in-game in Minecraft is my speedrun still valid because its sometimes just the fact that I have to leave my computer to do some other things?
Most games do not allow runners to pause their recording in the middle of their run. You could take a break, but the time and your recording should be going. That said, ask directly for Minecraft.
