All-Star Mode Rules Inconsistency

The rules for the All-Star Mode category state that IGT is the main timing method for it. However, it seems that RT is taking precedent for sorting the times on the leaderboards for that category, as well as Boss Battles. Whether the rules are wrong or the leaderboards are wrong, something needs to be changed to make the category less confusing to submit for.

This has already been established for Boss Battles as well. Its srcs inability to make different categories have different timing methods. Since Subspace uses RTA but IGT is an option, thats the rule for all Brawl leaderboards

IGT is still considered the best for those runs tho, so the rules are right and runs care about IGT more than RTA, src is just dumb

Exactly what poke said, SSE is the main category, so whatever main timing method is within that category, it will lead up to every other category, thanks to SRC. Some rules in other categories were "incorrect" prior to this same situation with Boss Battles and will continue to stand with IGT, but due to SRC, all categories must be monitored officially as Real Time as this boards main timing method. IGT will continue to count for All-Star and Boss Battles as they are displayed as their own timing method, it just cannot and will not be allowed by SRC to be the main timing method on those specific categories.

The Super Smash Bros. for Wii U page on this website fixes this problem for its All-Star Mode by having only one time to submit and having the rules make that time the IGT. See any of that page's All-Star Mode leaderboards for what I'm talking about.

What I could do is just have people submit their IGT as RTA meaning their RTA time would not be submitted but basically replaced

That would work really well and make more sense to newcomers reading the rules.
