Hi guys I'm really new out there having a potato PC and wondering what do I do to submit a run? Can I record my run on a potato camera and submit it or do i have to do screen-capture? Bcs if 2nd, I'll never speedrun till I have a decent computer :(
image is not enough proof that you got the run in pretty much every game. so you need to record your runs then submit them

You are not required to have LiveSplit or any timer on your video unless rules explicitly say so (this is very rare). Additionally, live-streaming doesn’t make a run less likely to be cheated, although cheated runs are few and far between anyway so it’s irrelevant whether the video is live or not.
My old computer was very bad and couldn't even run livesplit or obs yet I still managed to do a run (Ultimate Flash Sonic on my profile). It's not a requirement, just have a screen recorder (or even a phone point at your computer) and a way to upload it to Youtube and you should be fine. For timing, you can just scroll to the start and endpoints :-)

I mean, they probably went through the forums looking for a thread with a similar question to what they had. I don't see the issue with it
Yeah but still its better to make a new forum than a dead 9-month old one. But I do see your point.
