I found this strategy while messing around with Conqu3red's Speedrun Utilities mod, and it turns out this has a significantly faster simulation time than any other strategy I found! I'm not quite sure why this is, but I suppose it has something to do with the breaking right side, as well as the high roof for the lower cars to pass under. When I started today, I thought I might be able to knock 3 or 4 seconds off this time, not 15!
