Also worth a mention, I had the RTA WR for ages on a slow laptop, then people beat my time purley because they had a better rig.

They did a run without the glitch and it would still come to 1:11'17"

First things first, -

Secondly, if anyone else can replicate that, then I will believe it. I've caught you out on shady stuff in the past, so this wouldn't surprise me either.

Thirdly, Japanese PS3 has slightly faster IGT over all versions (Apart from Steam 60FPS.)

Fourthly, in every other community, when a PC port is available, it is ran as the primary platform. Even this game has the most PC runs on it, so they should be favored over the console. Limiting the PC's capabilities is not fair for the majority.

EDIT: There are things that you can do in the game that will not make a difference RTA but effect the IGT, such as the cutscenes in 5-1 and 6-3. Skipping them is bad for RTA but no difference in terms of RTA. Being punished for something that doesn't actually make the run faster, but for a gamer mechanic, is a bad idea tbh.

I'll add some more to this when i think of them.

Unlock it for co-op but keep it 60fps for solo because the ai gets stuck on everything

Is this load remover going to become mandatory for PC? Or maybe a brushed up one that takes out cutscene load times and black screens as well.

When you start letting in re skins, people will start asking for texture packs and whatever else that is "Graphical" Modification. Then you can't say no to that because the reskins have been allowed.

I'd keep it as IL Personally. Maybe move it to the top of the IL boards as they are the most run IL's/

I know everyone likes free wr's but this is dumb in my opinion. but i don't really care anymore so do as you wish. RE is n easy series

nappe's IL seg times are extremely optimised for NG+. They can only be beaten by somebody on the pc version. The co-op runs done by mat are also very well optimised and there are only a couple of time saves maybe.

You can also savescum on every version of the game, which makes seg ng possiblke. Although it would be a lot easier on the PC version.

Seg for NG+ is dumb really, but would be interesting for NG
