What are the computers used to live stream? Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty requires a desktop GPU and it needs a dedicated graphics card to run smoothly. I find it difficult to record my local recording and stream live on the same computer.

So here's a Marathon route I made. This is the route I'll be using for the marathon. I can simply teleport towards the landmines towards the end of Stockyards and the Slogs blow them up for me!

They are open for 2 weeks. They go through three rounds of submissions and after the last round a schedule will be created.

I have submitted my game choices for ESA 2016. Abe's Oddysee any% and New 'n' Tasty any%. I hope that my run goes well at the Marathon if they accept my runs. I will have a lot of practice before the marathon.

Because the PC version has a lot more add-ons than the PS4 and OWI are doing everything they can to maximize the performance of that version, and they're fixing some issues based on user feedback from Steam.

Update: OWI are working with JAW again to bring out a patch for the Steam version of NNT to fix 3 outstanding issues that the PC version has been having.

These issues include:

• Optional 720p lower bit-rate cut-scene movies
• Fixes for the resolution bug caused by the shadow sliders in Settings
• Wireless Xbox One controller support for Windows 10 controller drivers

There will be an update to when the patch will be released next week. I'm glad their fixing the cutscenes as I'm unable to show the ending cutscenes in my any% runs because their slow.

You should always use the original EU/USA ROM.

Since I have made a good update to the 100% TAS of the original game on Bizhawk for TASVideos.org, I am back to this game and to practice for ESA 2016. I hope I get to go. It will be an interesting marathon.

I do a jump before the bottle cap glitch and the glitch behaves differently on PC. Instead of glitching to the door, he ends up falling to the death trap. There is a bottle cap trick in boardroom you can do on PS4 but you can't do it on PC. Abe just doesn't jump onto the ledge like he should.

The bottle camp jump works slightly different on PC. I tried doing the bottle cap reverse jump and it doesn't work the same way like the PS4 version.

Here is a skip that I found. Causes a lag though when entering Monsaic Lines. May help IGT though.

The PS4 version is definitely the worst. Like qwrku says you can't teleport everywhere but with the PC version you can fully customise the keyboard and teleport faster.

Update: I got two weeks off from University for Christmas after next week. I'll have a bit of work to do but I will be streaming some any% runs on Thursday and Friday afternoons and I will stream a bit on Monday evening.

Rtsmarty? What software do you use to record and time your RTA in Linux? I'm installing Ubuntu on my laptop right now.
