Let me go into detail here, let's say I lose a run after an hour of attempts, I would start feeling discouraged and I lose my motivation. I will tell myself "This is so fucking stupid, I would never get a run, WTF's wrong with me, etc." (You get the point here)
Is that enough explanation?
The maximum amount of time I can usually last in a single session is usually an hour for short games. For games the lasts longer than an hour, I can usually last for as long as the run itself, or I can only crank out very few attempts in a single session.
This is more of a mental problem btw, I still have energy but after an hour, I just became mentally weak to squeeze out more attempts

How do I find out which user is a bot or not. They could just copy paste their question from reddit in here
@Laxxus @BabyRapZero This might not be related to the topic but I think you should read this thread https://www.speedrun.com/smb1/thread/5koox
I'm just gonna answer the part about my thoughts on speedrunning less popular games. It's fun learning a new speedgame but after a while, it gets boring really fast. The reason behind this for me personally is the lack of runners. If a leaderboard lacks runners, then the game's speedrunning progression will get slower and loses its potential of being a pretty decent speedgame. When the progression gets slower, the runner(s) will lose motivation with the speedgame and decides to stop running it and start moving on to other games. That's why you won't see runners (who enjoy running obscure games) run only one of those games. They will run a lot of them since they will lose motivation with them eventually and they just enjoy speedrunning in general.

Since this thread doesn't seem to wanna die, I guess I should post this then https://www.speedrun.com/undertale_2
Undertale 2: Revenge of the Robots is a new FREE RPG game that came out in April Fools. But don't let the game's meme-like appearance fool you. This game can take you multiple hours to beat it casually with 2 endings and multiple side quests/bosses.
Currently, I'm the only runner for this game and I would really appreciate it if anyone wants to contribute with routing/glitch-hunting since I'm not good with any of those. Also just having someone to run this game with is also something I want since there's no fun in running a game alone.
Edit: The WR for the Normal Ending category is 1:45:08. So it's a pretty long speedrun and this might be a good or a bad thing for some people. Just wanna point that out.
We can't do anything here, I recommend just dm'ing cheese himself or discuss this in the sm64 forums https://www.speedrun.com/sm64/forum
@Lieutenant_Boo For a bot to make threads in the forums
Is it even allowed for bots posts like this?
I just did a casual playthrough of this awesome RPG game that came out recently, and since it's a relatively new game it doesn't have a leaderboard in src yet.
Currently routing is the biggest issue for me since I have never done it before and it's an "RPG" game so the route isn't the most linear.
Is there any advice for a beginner router for me? Plus, I'm doing this alone so if anyone wants to help or contribute, just ask me for the game link.
Is it only in the Philippines though? I live in Malaysia which is pretty close and I can set my location just fine
The game that got me interested in speedrunning in the first place:

I think the best way to approach this is by finding out if there are any runners of that game who are still active in src. Particularly, runners who have a top-level time in the leaderboards and knows a lot about the game itself. I wouldn't say you shouldn't ask in these forums, but you need someone that you know well and you can trust to moderate the leaderboards since I don't think runners here can do that especially if it's a game they never ran before.
