I disagree about the number of runners in a leaderboard having any weight on "speed points" for a WR. Let's say I got a WR in a leaderboard of 10 runners. And over time 90 more runners came and submitted runs, but none of them passed my time. Why would I get more points because of that? I didn't do anything myself, my WR stayed the same.
If the line of thinking is "more runners means there is a greater chance for at least one of them to pass WR", that is a fallacy. Not all runners try to get world record - some just want to have fun with the game and submit their best attempt, some runners just submit their first ever run and then disappear forever, and some might try to get WR and fail (especially if the WR is close to optimized).
Alternatively - if I want to get a WR in a leaderboard with 100 runners, I don't need to beat 100 runners; I just have to beat one - the current WR holder.
I don't know about the "match the requested format" error, but if it happens when you don't change anything and just try to save the settings, it means something probably went wrong in the leaderboard settings data. You can maybe post a picture of the game settings here to see if we see something weird, or use the support hub to report that bug.
As for the game title - this is done in the support hub as well, you need to "request changes to a game". However - I see that there are two leaderboards: "Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken" and "Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken - PS Vita". I know nothing about this game, so you can tell us: Is there any reason why the game is split up to two different leaderboards? The original leaderboard has a platform of PS3, so doesn't it fit to add PS4 and PS5 there? If the "PS vita" specific version is too much different than the regular version, so that it required a different leaderboard - then I don't see why PS4 and PS5 should be added to your leaderboard, it will only cause confusion. Alternatively, your leaderboard might be merged into the exist leaderboard of "Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken", with the addition of the PS Vita platform.
But it's a highscore, not a speedrun. Are you sure you're up to the task?
Welcome! You should probably start with the FAQ thread: https://www.speedrun.com/speedrunning/thread/pt010
Welcome to the site! If you have any game-specific questions, you should ask them in the forums/discord of the relevant game. In this case: https://www.speedrun.com/goldeneye_007_n64
Usually the reply to this is "ask the game moderators, because we in the general community don't know anything about this game". However, I see that you are a moderator of Adibou 2 yourself.
So, can you please provide some more context? Have you just recently become a moderator for this game? Are you looking for advice on how to reorganize/fix the leaderboard? And if you did just became a moderator, what about the other 3 moderators that came before you?
@jackzfiml Is that AB2 run truly unverifiable, though? The in-game timer shows 38.28, and if you manually retime the video (from timer start to timer end) you get approximately ~38.16 RTA time. If the timer is not affected by lag, why would lag prevent from submitting runs? To my (uneducated) judgement, the lag only prevents the runner from getting better times.
The run is visible on the HTML5 leaderboard, if you change some of the filter settings (for example, show only runs with video). On default filter settings, I guess the text on the bottom of the leaderboard is getting relevant again, because site is slow:
Note: newly submitted or approved runs may take a few minutes to appear. Thanks for your patience!
@Ivory I suspect this has something to do with this thread: https://www.speedrun.com/mc/thread/9k673
At some point, the thread derailed so hard and people started spamming scrolls of text.
But even if the update was supposed to stop this behaviour, limiting us at 1000 is too much.
The "run" was submitted by the user @Legitimacy. Since this is a co-op run that requires 3 runners, that user also inserted "_" and "__" in the names of the other runners as placeholders. Unfortunately, 1 underscore (you) and 2 underscores are exist accounts, and so this run was also linked to both of you.
I would say ignore it; but since @Legitimacy (awesome name in this context though) is probably gonna get banned for this run sometime, I just hope it will not affect you and @__ as well. In the slim case it is, you know why it happened and you could explain the situation to site staff. (But for now, ignore it)
Similar to what hahhah42 said, I know several other Flash games that were re-made by the developers and published on Steam, after the Flash-date-of-death was announced. Series like: Deep Sleep trilogy, Don't Escape trilogy, the games in the Henry Stickmin collection, and Epic Battle Fantasy series.
Does that help, or are you looking for PC/console games?
