You can use the search bar at the top to find the respective leaderboard for a game of your interest. I cannot read any rule that states you are forced to run on an older patch, so I believe its not a requirement.
I don't run GTA V myself but I believe there are certain advantages running on Patch 1.27 like having no waves in the water and probably certain other advantages I myself am not aware of. If you wanna know for sure you should probably hop into the Discord and ask this yourself.

Well, this is some thread.. Allow me to clarify some things why the boards are locked.
The boards are locked for a few reasons. We need to actually wait till the game is out to figure out some stuff. The first reason is just so there is time to figure alot of stuff out. Since this a game developed by FROM Software there is a high chance that this game will have IGT as a suitable timing method. If IGT ends up not being viable, we need to work out another timing method as a community. But to create a proper IGT timing method we need to test if IGT is actually properly usable as a timing method obviously. IGT in Souls games is already very messy so IGT in this game is something that really needs to be tested but that can only be done when the game has dropped. Another reason is to have sufficient time to properly create some categories and doing all of the above while everyone is still doing their first playthroughs and playing the game. These are basically the reasons I locked the boards for now.

The Sekiro leaderboard will be locked in place until the 5th of April (which is 2 weeks until the game is released). This means its not possible to submit any speedruns until that time.
The reasons for this are quite simple. It's to provide everyone a fair chance to properly play the game when its released and give us a good amount of time to come up with a good set of rules (and a timing method) as well as create the necessary categories for this game.

The Speedsouls community had a vote on the 28th of December to decide whether to deny or allow the use of the No Babyjump Mod for speedruns of Dark Souls II.
Due to some runners choosing to not vote, the maximum number of remaining voters reached 37, of which 19 runners voted in favor of allowing a baby jump mod for leaderboards runs for Dark Souls II and SotFS.
Thus, the baby jump mod will be allowed for all runs in the future, and runs done in the past using this mod are now eligible for the leaderboards.

- As of 1st November this year we will be enforcing a new submission rule regarding the standby-time in Dark Souls III menu screens as a result of multiple submissions within the last few months containing breaks of several minutes. Whereas many of these breaks are caused by technical issues, which are admittedly very common in Dark Souls III speedrunning and will therefore be handled differently, other people use it to simply catch up with their stream chat or have a little talk.
Similar to the Dark Souls ruleset, which states: "If you use the Save & Quit mechanic at any point during a run, you are required to resume gameplay immediately on the same character. Any delay in loading your character back in will cause a video to be denied, (...)", moderators will start rejecting runs as they see fit. Check http://speedsouls.com/Dark_Souls#Rules
- Additionally, moderators will start rejecting runs that block/ hide gameplay elements from the VOD as in the reference below. These gameplay elements should be visible at ALL times in the submitted VOD.
What is considered useful to have on Leaderboards is different per community. So I have zero clue as to why you are referring in general about "people" while the opinions about having Category Extensions are obviously divided. And if Filters are the only way to view an Extension page that would still would not be a "direct link" from out of the actual game its supposed to extend.
.. Well I requested them for a reason. I do not mean for this thread to turn into a discussion as to why a Category Extension should or should not exist within a leaderboard. My only question was if there is a way to generate more exposure by somehow showing a direct link to it on the main page of the game.
Is there a way to give a Category Extensions page more visibility by linking it to the homepage of the main game page somehow? Right now, I cannot seem to find any option to make it stand out in a way on the main page.
For example, having an option underneath "Discord" or "Website" that says: "Category Extensions" where you can fill in the URL of the actual Category Extensions page would be a good solution I think.

Go to http://speedsouls.com/darksouls2:Any%25 and download the Files for Version 1.02, Calibration 1.05. Just replace the files in your \DarkSoulsII folder with these files. Make a backup before you do this and you should be good.

Also @6oliath , You can't force requests like these to be public since you expose names in some way in a public thread on a forum. While this request is nowhere near sneaky, it does not feel good for me to post a large list of inactive Super Moderators here. I'm pretty sure you can understand this.
