Equipment question for recording PS4

So, I'm a newbie wanting to get into PS4 running, and I'm trying to find a cheap(ish) way to record my footage. I found remote play, however my computer experiences bad frame drops when playing, which would effect timing (my laptop is an absolute piece of garbage for heavy duty stuff like this). https://1921681254.mx/ https://100001.onl/ My question is, would a capture card alleviate this, or would it just be another way to capture the footage, but still experience the frame drops because of my pc? Will I just be forced to upgrade to a gaming laptop that can handle remote play or a capture card (which I have wanted to do, and I do have the money, but I'm moving soon, and that would be a lot of money)?

Well, Avermedia Live Gamer Portable Plus 2 is a capture card that lets you record without a PC, it stores your recording inside a micro sd card. It doesn't affect your gameplay frame rate.

But if you really wanna be cheap, you can record with the pre-built recording option on PS4. You press the button twice or hold it once, depending on your config settings.

Otherwise, you can live stream to twitch or YouTube and save the vods there too.
