What happened to all the speedruns that were in the leaderboard for years? Category : Killer (normal) for all killers have been move to (old). I read the rules and it's still says runs from patch 6.0 an onward and runs with luck offerings that alter the match has been moved to (old). The match I submitted 6 months ago had no luck offerings, was after patch 6.0 and still has been move to (old) and everyone else who submitted too. WR is now 9-10min for a lot of killers and some killers have 0 submitted run.
I'm wondering what happened, do we need to submit the same run again to go back in the leaderboard? Do we need new runs? Rules hasn't been updated so it's confusing.
We still need to update the rules, but the dbd devs changed a lot of things in patch 9.0.0. We will change them at some point, but because we archived the leaderboards our workload got a lot bigger. A lot more runs got submitted and we constantly get messages about the rule changes.
Without luck offerings you can't attempt to unhook yourself and two missed skill checks in the struggle phase does not automatically sacrifice you. These mayor changes made most of the old WRs pretty much unbeatable, which is why we archived ALL killer runs prior to patch 9.0.0. Runs after patch 9.0.0 with luck offerings will (for now) be moved to the archived killer leaderboard. Runs without luck offerings will be added to the current killer leaderboard in their respective subcategory (normal, adept or load out).
In the current PTB, they are bringing back the unhook attempts and the missed skill checks in struggle phase to get sacrificed faster. So... if it goes live are you gonna revert this rule change?
From what I saw they're only going to bring back the "2 missed skill checks" = death if there's only two survivors left alive, which isn't changing the times enough to revert our changes. I didn't hear anything about bringing Kobe attempts back.
