Gotta say that I'm really proud of this one. I rerouted this whole level to include a relatively precise jump onto the Doof statue, and it was fun to figure out basically everything from scratch. This run is also the only one to include the pause glitch, which lets you move in cutscenes when pausing. The rules say you can't pause in cutscenes when the in game timer stops, but this particular spot was different since it included what I like to call a "double cutscene", which unpauses the timer when the camera pans for the second time when opening the hatch.
Even though I'm really proud of this run, it's actually not perfect believe it or not. When activating the 2nd button, you have a very slim chance of the robot pushing you directly off the edge and therefore bypassing the cutscene, but of course this is completely rng reliant. With an estimated 1/32 chance of happening in an already precise run, this trick was practically out of the question. In addition, there's a trick before the run even starts where you could hold right a few frames after selecting the level to immediately be facing in the right direction when starting. However, my mouse cursor needed to be set into the right position to do the pause glitch later on, so doing this trick would be really difficult unless I dragged my mouse in the middle of the run.
With both of these tricks, a 23 second time is most definitely possible.
