Can I try a run if I am playing on PS5?
I no longer have a PS4 and was wondering if I can still participate in all the runs if I am using a PS5? And if so, where would I be able to post it?

The PS5 has much faster loading times than a PS4 fat and EVEN a PS4 PRO with SSD. Runs like survival cups will be much easy to beat because of the loadings of the next-gen console.
