This was the best run from my recent impromptu 24 hour streaming marathon, and I have to say I'm pretty happy with it. This is my second single segment run that I've managed to finish, which is amazing to me, given the high stakes involved with running this game at all. Even just 1 single death results in your run being invalidated for the single segment category due to the game being timed using the in game timer. I intend to continue shaving time off of my route as I introduce more advanced techniques like the 1 cycle Balcon Gerald Kill (Someday?). My current goal is to reach the sub 1 hour mark, and then decide whether or not I want to grind for a better time once I'm there. There is a whole heap of mismanaged time spent decision making in this run due to my general lack of familiarity with the category, as well as plenty of junk movement throughout. All these things considered, I'm relatively confident that I can shave my time down quite a bit even without implementing any new strategies.
