Glitch% Guide

Currently, the Glitch% runs are defined by a storage glitch discovered by runner MelonkeepR.

This glitch allows the player to "store" data by throwing a pickup and restarting the game before it collides. If done correctly, the effect of the thrown pickup will persist in the newly restarted game. You can confirm that this has be done correctly if a message is displayed at the bottom of the screen during the restart transition to the title screen.

Because these runs require a restart - both the setup run and the actual run are required for submissions in the category. The in-game time for the actual run is what is chosen for the record, but both the real-time and in-game time are required for submission.
