Wanted to bring this to your attention: there is a poll currently out on renaming the No Major Glitches category, in the wake of the discovery of Short Boost / Air Walk. The poll will be open until Monday, May 23 at 03:59 AM GMT.

There is also a question on the poll about merging NMG with Unrestricted, this question is present strictly to gauge popularity; no action will be taken based on the results at this time.

Why does this matter?
The name of NMG is subjective and varies from person to person. When the category was created, no set of rules or definitions were implemented leading to various discussions over what constitutes a major glitch. This discussion has been brought forward again with the discovery of short boost and air walk. In an effort to facilitate decision making for the category, a name change to the category has been proposed.

Points to consider:

- Removal of major/minor declarations from decision making.
- Trick allowance based on category rules and definitions or based on community desire and route intentions.
- Future tricks and strategies and their potential impact on the category.
- How you define the category and what you think it’s intentions are or should be.

Please note that this is a separate poll from short boost and air walk. We'll be posting a poll for this in the coming days.

A two-thirds majority, discounting neutral votes, will be required of the results to result in a change of the name for the category.

The final question regarding the board merger IS FOR INFORMATION GATHERING PURPOSES ONLY! A merger of the boards is not currently being considered, but the topic has been brought forth by the community several times recently so we are gauging community interest.
