This applies to runs in the "individual level" category only.

to find the start point of a chapter simply follow these steps:

finish the 'previous' chapter and go through the loading screen into the chapter you wish to run. skip the chapter introduction cutscene. immediately and without moving or taking other actions make a savegame in a new slot.

this save game is now at the "first save point" of that chapter and the timer starts upon loading that save.

once i get around to it you will also be able to find proper savegames in the resources section.
