Pc is slower than ps4 faster than Xbox. Just remember that pc characters are faster for 106

OK no objections came in so I've changed this. Runs will now be accepted with or without game music. Only requirements are full live run with CLEARLY audible game sounds. Music that is too loud will be a viable reason for rejection. Replays only are not acceptable. All the old rules regarding lagging or glitches still apply. If you have questions on them feel free to post your query.

OK so I was wondering can we amend the IL rules a little:

1. Music, why do we need in game music, you cant splice an IL so surely in game sound should be sufficient and as long as that's clearly audible and consistent other music playing should be alright?

2. Replay and map time: Again why do we need these, I mean if I hit a beautiful run in an SS run or if as is quite normal I just say I can do better, hit repeat and then fail to do better, my run is void for leaderboard purposes which really makes no sense, I mean the replay is far less reliable than the initial run anyway and map time might be glitched for a legit run anyway.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Replay glitches just aren't popular. I mean alt has been around forever but theres 2 people? doings alt 106%. I see no problem with opening a new category but I think the old one should keep the name.

Theres a link to a bandage save file for doing naija bandage runs, didnt follow the exact route, was a converted dark ending unfortunately so if you are looking to do warps you might want to do any any% or something but just handy for anyone who wants to do the bandages, of course i highly recommend suiciding runs that you know you dont want to take anyway, you usually have plenty of warning.

While I personally agree with removing randomness from these, its contentious in the community and I was wondering if this affects the game in other ways cos until we agree I don't know if we can tell who is running with or without for ss. Obviously its great for the segmented just wondering if there's a way to tell if someone is using in ss.

Was wondering out of interest if you can skip the cutscenes since you couldnt on xbox 360 right?

Wanted to add that if anyone thinks of any spawn jump opportunities could they mention them too, for instance I think 3-16 is probably worth it where in a SS run its impractical, its very difficult to think of all these.

Oh yeah i should throw in as well, as far as naija goes its easier not to press jump on the first dash to avoid this situation, you only need to press sprint to get naija to dash anyway

Spawn jumping is just what you said you jump on the frame you spawn. With characters like meat boy the effect is much more obvious since you will jump in midair where the character normally cant.

Super dash which is what you did is a naija technique that combines your upward momentum, usually from a jump, with a dash, to get extra height. The problem is to have the upward momentum you had to spawn jump, so you basically spawn jumped a super dash. I know this sounds a bit over the top techinically but basically because you jumped in midair with naija where you couldnt normally get that jump the time is considered illegitimate.

Good job all the same tho. If you still want to go for the level you can actually S over the top like this:

S literally means you turn twice during a jump or dash. so here i dash right turn left and then almost immediately turn back right.

Not sure if this option was available the whole time and I didnt spot it or if its new but you can now upload several times with different characters on a level and all will show without having to use filter.

Theres also the popularity issue,there have been only a very small handful of runners who did more than 5-6 attempts at wrong warp while the other one is the most popular category in the game so its easier to give the nice name to any%

Hey, sorry homme haven't been checking this up enough, I think do seperate threads for now and if we get alot I can move them to another location or something if needed.

A new SMB group in steam might make sense since all the current groups have kind of gone idle but I don't know what you think.

We could do that Litchi but the site's layout would make it very annoying to follow sometimes, like the boss thing. If ye really want it though I will set up the leaderboards, I still only have forest done on the boss thing as a sample but it wouldn't take long at all to set up in general.
