If you watch red_riolu's run. The 2nd time the final boss pulls knack in towards the boss. Red actually gets hit by the bosses force field and is knocked back. I avoided the field and was able to get thrown by the boss about 2 seconds sooner as a result. As far as I know this is the most optimized this fight will be. Maybe even better bunny hopping and tighter angles when the boss shoots will allow for another second or two. But that's about it unless a new strat to skip a phase is discovered.
