I haven't seen anyone talking about their best times in Treasure Road levels, so I figured I'd start that up here. Treasure Road is Forgotten Land's time trial levels that reward you with rare gems, and some of the game's Target Times are fairly tight while others can be completely crushed. Feel free to share ideas on categories, strategies (general and level-specific), and glitches in this thread.

I'm not usually a speedrunner myself, I just like watching the runs/streams/YT videos lol, but just yesterday I got a PB of 00:34:63 on the Natural Plains Cone Mouth Treasure* . It was pretty optimized for the strats I was using, and the game's Target Time is 45secs, so a decent improvement! From looking on YouTube, here, and elsewhere online, that's the fastest time I've seen, but I'm sure it could be improved upon. I don't have a capture card, but I did save a screenshot of the time. And when leaderboards go up, I'd love to see someone do better!

I finished my first TR level earlier, I have a 38.26 on Cutter Treasure. Only have a 30 second clip of it as of rn though until I can get my capture card working lol

I got a 15.21 on Triple Strike! Bowling for Switches. As far as I'll go this is a pretty optimized run. I hope the treasure road levels are added soon!

Not completely sure, but there may still be a timesave on the last section. I've noticed that competing runners often do a lil' "slide jump" move to speed up kirby's usual running (unaware if there's a technical term for this). I added this action in my second PB of Tornado Treasure if you'd like a quick visual (link above)! <3

Tackled Sword Treasure last nite and today! Love this time (nice), but still some work to do-- mainly optimizing triple sword guy section and the boss boi. Tried and tried to knock it down further while theorizing some better strats, but this time stuck. xo

I can just tell you Buffs: if you collect enough Dees a shop unlocks in the town where you can buy 3 diferent items -HP boost (dobbles yor hp, and not going to get you a better time) -speed boost(200 second) -dmg boost(200 second)(only good on combat roads like Sword)

Power Up: after you beat the game with more rare stones you can make copy ability do more dmg. You can power them up at the workshop

I've hit a 0:52.77 on the Vending Mouth TR, the run was super tight. Sub 50 is probably possible, but you'd need a really smooth run for it - I want to grind that out eventually, but I've been mad busy lately haha.

What would end up being the ruling on the Speed Up item being used for TR runs? I didn't record it (fully, anyway - only 30 seconds), but I just got a Vending Mouth 0:43:92 using it.

I feel like it's probably fair game, but at the same time it might be a bit cheesy depending on who you ask. It definitely is a must-use for like every run due to it's time saves (that Vending Mouth run was suuuper sloppy, but I still saved that much time over my old PB) but you could argue that it being gated behind unlocks (isn't the worst grind in the world IMO) and that it kind of necessitates being used despite being an optional buff makes it kind of unfair. I don't really think so, but I'm just curious of what others are saying.
