Huh? The layout is the same minus the round variable. Everyone has been running arcade mode 1 round, and selecting difficulty.

All I did was go into the coding and make sure the runs are in the correct Arcade sub difficulties, rather than categories. This is common practice.

Again the default was moved from its original value of 1 to go UP toward more rounds increase. Usually for speedruns we go down, this game in general is meant for one round and its again, THE DEFAULT. Not a huge hefty change. It shouldn't have been changed in the first place. The other ones had been empty for a very long time. Sorry your unhappy but please focus on speedrunning the game as its intended.

Overlooked but not forgotten, I decided to not only really give Toshinden 3 a fair shake since being tasked with the leaderboard way back. I decided to really dig deep into every character, and try and understand this game.

Through doing this, I realized a bit of better way to set the leaderboard, more in line with standard fighting game leaderboards and adding many missing things. I hope fans of the series give this one a chance, with probably the biggest cast of characters in the game, there are many interesting things to find, and possibly still times to improve.

• Comprehensive rules have been added. With standard formatting

• Category rules were added as well.

• Properly made it so that the difficulty of Arcade is now a sub category.

• Condensed the Arcade category, since difficulty was added.

• Removed the round variable. There is literally zero reason to change it from the default. Since the default is already set to one. Not sure why this was ever added to begin with, but its gone now, there were only 3 submissions on this one, and didn't compare well to the 1 round.

• Character value set to not obsolete so you can have multiple runs on a difficulty as long as its a different character.

• Characters reordered by place in the actual game select menu.

• Character variable updated and added Abel, Naru, Schultz, Tau, Atahua, Leon, Zola, Toujin, Adam, Balga, Miss Til, Ten Count, Judgement, Rachael, Cuiling

• Even though a lot of characters play similar there are minor differences in special, and strings a majority of the time. Some characters like Adam are completely different to their counterpart.

• Updated everyones runs, double verified, and attached the character variable to them.

Revisited Toshinden 2 after almost 5 years including a large amount of hours spent routing and testing all characters, I am making some needed changes to the leaderboard. It may be a little to late after I inherited the board way back when, but maybe the new changes will encourage some new runs, and even better more additional routing.

• Rules have been updated with better explanations.

• Character variable has been updated to include all the secret characters since they are unlocked from codes on all versions of this game.

• Difficulty subcategory has been added, Any% which includes the option to change any settings, The standard Easiest difficulty, with default settings, and Hardest have been added.

• Previous runs have had the character variable and reassigned to normal appropriately.

Finally, Plus 2 has been tested, this version is not just a minor graphical upgrade but a major difference in balance, move properties, frames, and even combo ability. There is also some minor hud and system changes.
