game is actually pretty well-made compared to other "escape the ______" obbies, it just has a stupid theme

Games like Easy Obby, Speed Run 4, and Leap are some popular games on the shorter side that help learn fundamentals and can be applied to other games. Games like Adventure Forward 2, Robot 64, and Loomian Legacy are all great longer speedgames with more niche strategies and communities. I would start with games similar to those you regularly play on roblox.

we don't use that because it was added long after hundreds of runs had already been done and we can't see those decimal times, plus it would take too much effort to change all of them (especially now with the 36k runs)

each biome makes the most sense for an IL, it still evenly divides the game without being arbitrary and is long enough that the number of runs submitted will be managable

This feature actually does exist, and can be found under the "Edit game" button (e.g. https://www.speedrun.com/ccc/editgame/tags ), along with the engine, developer, and publisher. The issue arises in the fact that these tags are completely useless at the moment since there is no way to sort games by tag; if I'm not mistaken it isn't actually possible for normal users to view that information.

To make it easier to figure out the tier of a country and submit to the right category, I will be filling impossible categories with runs from "—" with a time of one second. If you see a — run, don't submit to that tier.

pick up the medkit with right click and then click on it with left click without letting go of right click, when you hold it in your hand you should be able to fly

however the anticheat kicks you if you do it too much now

ok but there is no reason to act like lower end devices are the holy grail

several games, especially ones on console, allow every platform and the ones with the best platform get the fastest times. i don't even have that good of a phone, the least complicated method of timing is to take the amount of time between the start and end of the run

it would be acceptable to remove loads since those can be inconsistent even on one device

besides this game isn't that hard to run anyways
