So basically you're mostly targeting me because my run isn't good enough for you ? Well i don't give a shit. I practiced and this is the best i've done so far.
Plus, if you don't like the rules or categories (difficulty settings precisely), then don't watch and ask the actual communities about it instead of making a topic where none of them are gonna be looking at.
At this point, you just keep ranting instead of trying to look for actual "solutions". Or maybe that was what you wanted to begin with ? Just rant and cry for attention ? Either way, stop that shit.
Yeah i'm talking about having them just like the social buttons, like for example, they could be under the game's box art. Using the resources tab and forum is an idea, but personnaly, i find that the link wouldn't get as much visibility. And tbh, imo the visibility for this is very important, especially for new runners.
Hai, not sure if i should ask this in the feedback thread, oh well.
A while ago, i remember reading about a special "space" on the leaderboards and series pages to put a link to the discord and/or community sites.
Well, mostly for the discord communities. Is this still planned ? If not, any chance of doing it ?
PS: While we can just share the link via the forums, it looks "meh", and having a special "space" directly on the left would make the link more visible.
I'd say try Boktai 1 or 2 on GBA (action RPG). Still, that might be too easy. As for resets, unless you're really bad, you'd probably only reset after boss fights (or the first one around 20 minutes in) for Boktai 1 For 2, there's some forging you have to do after the first boss that's pretty much based on RNG for the result.
Boktai 1 any% is currently 1h42 ~ 1h55 As for 2 any%, iirc it's around 2h ~ 2h10
Oh btw, to play these on emu you'd need to use patches, they can be found on the leaderboards though.
Would the people who receive the requests know that it exists and reply saying it is denied?
Yes.
Yo This is a good idea, but at the same time, some runners don't use the "community" feature, i suggest adding this while still keeping the [nosrl] thing.
Personnaly, i'd just say that;
Not everyone can afford the material to dump games. Not everyone can afford buying an NTSC console and game, especially when the game is rare and costs a lot.
In my case, for boktai there is, technically, a lot of stuff to buy:
- a GC
- a GB Player (30€ where i live)
- a DS with capture card if you're not using GC
- UV Flashlight (usually 12 to 25€)
- the game(s) (30€ or more per game in this case)
- anything to make the flashlight stay on top of the solar sensor that's in the cartridges
Still, in most cases, i'd eventually atleast try to look for an actual cartridge / disc.
Hi
As far as i know the DLC is still on the JP PSN store, try looking for "free content" and "D", you should eventually find it (you might find the manga scans too, but these aren't free). I've read about it being removed too a while ago, but the DLC was still there, it's just hard to find.
I'll be checking later just in case, when PSN actually works again though.
As for submitting, you can submit pics, as long as your time is on it (also if you can show your name all the time that'd help). It can be either a pic of that one screen after racing (results screen) or in the courses selection screen (results screen is preferred though).
That'd just be WiiVC, so... "official" emulation, kinda. Since technically Virtual Console IS emulation.
As for PS1 game on PS2, no, if you're using PS2, then you have to mention that you played it on PS2 (most of the time you should be able to just select PS2 as the console when submitting runs).
As for differences, well i think PS1 games can run a bit faster on PS2, mostly because of loading times. Still, i'm not sure if that's for all games.
As long as you don't start with Zelda 2.... I mean, personnaly, i really like the game, it's good, but it's really hard.
I think A Link To The Past would be a good one to start with, and then any of the 3D ones (OoT, Majora's Mask, Twillight Princess... Skyward Sword, as long as you like motion controls).
If you can get the recent ones, A Link Between Worlds is really cool too imo, but at the same time it's a sequel to A Link To The Past, so i'd recommend to start with that one first.
