hey recently ive been routing out a 100% route and realized that there is no way to use cheats to benefit the run. Then again I'm no expert so I figured I'd ask is there an advantage to using any cheats in a 100% run?

hi rcarney! this game is really little known because of the lack of advertising due to independent development. to be honest, this game is really new to this website (just got approved last week) so I'm still working on optimizing the route for all the categories. if you want i will start setting up pastebins with the routes as im working on them!

This has happened to me. You're going to either get a new battery for the memory card and restart your file or just get a new memory card (much easier I recommend this)

Not that I have any say in this matter but I'll throw it out here anyway. Early blues really doesn't change the route to the point where I think it needs its own category. The only time it actually saves in an RTA would be the time of dissembling the electric gate the blues are held behind bc technically you could just do perplexing pool to get yellows, end the day and then go along with the route as if you had done the route with the early blues. Is there a certain aspect of the glitch I could maybe help you with?

Maybe as somebody who just follows this game and hasn't ran it yet I can add my perspective. I do agree with the moderators. Take all badges for example (I've been confused by this category since its been up), the only big differences between it and any% is that you have to complete the pit of 100 trials and well as grind enough coins, pianta points (idk if I spelled that right), and a couple of troubles to complete the run. So why do we need another category that just measures how fast you can grind side quests? Granted, I know that's pretty close to 100% but at least with 100% you're being tested on doing a large deal of side quests that do pull you slightly off the normal route. A misc. category should be something that sidetracks the normally ran route for the main game a significant amount such as All Bosses for Paper Mario 64. I wouldn't suggest an All Peach Scenes for that game because that's basically All Cards with an added couple of minutes due to text mashing. Even though an all troubles category can be interestingly routed, it still doesn't change the basic path of the actual game. Sorry if I didn't make sense, but that's kinda how I see things here.

I'll give it a shot! I won't post until I can get something going. If I can't get the capture card to work (I will try) can I just use a video camera?

To be honest, I have next to no knowledge of video capture technology. I bought an ElGato for like $200 only to find out it doesn't do gamecube or wii. If you'd like I can use a handheld video camera to tape my tv . I would just have to buy one (which I wouldn't mind doing) and the videos wouldn't be perfect... Thank you for the complement on my runs by the way.
